Remus sighed and settled into the armchair to wait. He knew that, sooner or later, James, Sirius and Peter would have to return to the common room. And when they did, Remus would be waiting.
But in the mean time, he would simply have to be patient, and try not to let his imagination get away from him over what they could have done in his absence.

Remus sighed and resigned himself to his least-favoure thing to do: people watching. Why was it that the girls in the common room were so boring? At least boys would get into fights sometimes.

Sirius bound into the common room, tie in his hand and his two top buttons undone.

Remus glanced up and smirked. "Padfoot! What crime have you commiteed today?" he asked cheerfully, making a beeline for his friend.

Sirius shrugged, "I dropped a firecracker into one of the toilets in the Prefects bathroom." A grin slid across his face.

Remus laughed and shook his head. "Explains the soggy 5th-year girls."

Sirius grinned, "So, what now Moony?"

Remus shrugged. "Well, I can either give you a lecture we both know you won't listen to, or we can actually do something fun. Ideas?"

"Fun sounds good." Sirius threw his tie in a heap in the corner, narrowly avoiding a group of first years.

Remus rolled his eyes at Sirius's antics. "Any ideas on what fun to do?"

"Hmmm," Sirius frowned, "Not sure."

Remus thought. "Lake? Kitchens? Quidditch pitch?"

Sirius mulled over the choices for a moment, "Kitchens." He decided.

Remus nodded. "Let's go, then. And try not to annoy too many people on the way."

Sirius smirked, "No promises!" He hurled himself off towards the door.
